I recently learned that half of the government is denying climate change and global warming. I don't want to point any fingers, but the more conservative side isn't recognizing climate change at all. It's crazy to think how someone can deny what's going on in the world, how there is scientific evidence that the climate is changing and the sea are, in fact, rising. For example, Greenland has the highest rate of global warming, that is, the ice is melting at an unusual rate;the process of the the ice melting and falling off into the water is called calving, which is another process the conservative side of congress doesn't acknowledge. Another example, there are nine hundred million tons of just plastic in the ocean and there is no legislation being passed or nothing done by the government to fix the rate at which, we, the people are destroying our would and environment. When it comes to our environment, there are no sides at fault, but the population as a whole and we need to get past a partisan ideology an do something about the world we live. That being said, the government needs to start making the environment an agenda setting issue.

Health Insurance Changes

After reading the article "New health care changes are only the beginning" on CNN News. They have stated that the worst is behind us, and to look forward to the future of health care. A group of economist announced an end to what the Obama administration refers to as the worst recession since the 1930's. Between 2008 and 2009 the number of uninsured people increased by 16.7 percent. The U.S is claiming that the numbers of people covered with health insurance will substantially increase in 2014. The health care reform legislation are now making it a requirement that insurance companies keep dependent children under the age of twenty six on their parents insurance. Also adding another restriction saying a company may not take a customer off when he or she gets sick. This can benefit us all with everybody having a better chance to be insured for their health. I do recommend that you take your time to read this article gaining lots of information on the new health care regulations. You will find it pretty interesting by them promising to make health care in the U.S of better quality. Saying that all these changes will be in forced this year in 2014. Now being updated on the situation  hopefully we see results over time taking one step in the right direction  It would be good to read and see how these changes will effect all of our health care.
